Re·la·tion·ship

the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected

Relationships can be a great source of strength and also a deep place of pain. As humans we connect through our relationships and so, relationships are vital to each and everyone of us. Who you are in relation to yourself, others, and the world around you has a significant impact on your well-being.

  • When you look at your relationships, are they what you want them to be?

  • Do you struggle at being your best self and knowing what that looks like?

  • Are you trying to communicate but can't seem to get through?

  • Are you constantly frustrated, hurt, and angry?

  • Are anxiety, depression, loneliness, and conflict controlling your life?

These situations can be frustrating and may be holding you back emotionally, mentally, and physically. Let's explore what is going on and work on defining yourself in your relationships in a way that leads to healthy, respectful, and emotionally satisfying interactions with yourself and those you love.

Hi there! Thank you for taking a moment and stopping by. Like any relationship, the therapeutic relationship is one that needs to work and feel right. In my 12+ years of clinical practice I have had the privilege of working with many individuals, couples, and families with the purpose of creating sound relationships based on respect and authenticity. One of my primary goals as a therapist is to create a safe space where you can explore the possibilities that can exist when you try new ways of thinking and doing. I love to challenge my clients to see themselves and their relationships from different perspectives.

My journey in the field of Psychology began when I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. I then completed my graduate studies at Carlos Albizu University and earned a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. My experience over the years with different populations and age ranges has lead me to specifically hone in on my passion: relationship work. I find relationships fascinating, complex, and vital to our well-being. Due to my curiosity on relationships and improving them, I have invested much time and energy into extensive trainings post graduate. I am trained in different modalities of therapy including Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Real Life Therapy. I really enjoy learning and growing in my professional life and aim to provide my clients with top notch service. My work is my passion and your growth in therapy is my priority.

I am currently located in the beautiful area of South Miami, where I get to work with people from different cultural backgrounds, experiences, and life stories. My ability to speak English and Spanish allows me to connect with the unique population of Miami. I would describe myself warm, honest, direct, and compassionate. I believe that through our collaboration we can focus on your stuck patterns and create new ones that will help you grow and change.

"Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take a step."
